Changing Behavior – Ten Common Mistakes

I just came across this Slide Share presentation on the 10 top mistakes in behavior change. We can look at this in regards to ourselves and to our clients.

Some of the solutions the Stanford team writes about:

  • Seek tiny successes
  • Change your context and you change your life
  • A fixed period (of time) works better than forever

This is a good post to review in January and September when in my observation  most people tend to embark on behavior change activities.

So what are you working on changing over the next few months?
