The Lost List

This is a best of post – first published in December of 2008.

Client’s often lose items. Especially really disorganized clients. Have your clients create a 3 x 5 index card for a lost list and post it on their work or household bulletin board.

The Lost List is a great reminder of things lost. The Lost List becomes a cause for celebration when things are actually found and crossed off.

Observing ongoing patterns of lost items may also help in designing better and more effective systems for your clients.
